Never give up. Never give in. Never admit defeat. Never wave your white flag. Never run for cover. Never throw in the towel. Never walk away. Never quit.

Never. Give. Up…Ever!

Whether you are an aspiring Beachbody Coach, an EpicEveryRep Team Member, an outsider just looking in, a friend, a family member, a super successful astronaut, or a street bum reading over someone’s shoulder in a coffee shop, NEVER GIVE UP.

You possess so much potential in your life, and you can do whatever you set your mind out to do. Great things can happen, but they never will if you give up. So never give up!

Here are a couple amazing stories from people we now recognize as amazingly successful. These are my inspiration. We would never even know their names if they had given up. But they didn’t give up. I think you’ll recognize a couple of them…

Sylvester Stallone

He was taunted in school, and barely made an income as an adult. He had to sell his dog to a stranger for $25.00 to eat. Came up with the script to Rocky, produced it, and earned over $200,000,000. He didn’t give up.

Albert Einstein

Didn’t speak until he was 4, and couldn’t read until he was 7. His teacher thought he was “sub-normal, mentally slow, unsociable, and adrift forever in foolish dreams.” Got expelled from school. Went on to speak and read. And do some math. He didn’t give up.

Winston Churchill

He failed 6th grade. Lost every single election for public office until he became Prime Minister (no big deal!) when he turned 62. He didn’t give up. Later wrote, Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never – in nothing, great or small, large or petty – never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never, Never, Never, Never give up.

Thomas Edison

Teachers claimed that he was “too stupid to learn anything.” Fire from his first two jobs for being “unproductive.” After over 1,000 attempts, created the light bulb. He didn’t give up.

Walt Disney

Was fired from the newspaper he worked for because he “lacked imagination and had no good ideas.” He went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland. In fact, the proposed park was rejected by the city of Anaheim on the grounds that “it would only attract riffraff.” He didn’t give up.

Bell Telephone

When Bell telephone was struggling to get started, its owners offered all their rights to Western Union for $100,000. The offer was disdainfully rejected with the pronouncement, “What use could this company make of an electrical toy.” They didn’t give up.
