فَانْطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰ إِذَا رَكِبَا فِي السَّفِينَةِ خَرَقَهَا ۖ قَالَ أَخَرَقْتَهَا لِتُغْرِقَ أَهْلَهَا لَقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْئًا إِمْرًا
Bunun üzerine ikisi bir gittiler, nihayet gemiye bindiklerinde tuttu gemiyi yaraladı, â, dedi: ehalisini gark etmek için mi yaralandın onu? Alimallah müdhiş bir şey yaptın
So the twain set out till, when they were in the ship, be made a hole therein. (Moses) said: Hast thou made a hole therein to drown the folk thereof? Thou verily hast done a dreadful thing.

قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ إِنَّكَ لَنْ تَسْتَطِيعَ مَعِيَ صَبْرًا
Demedim mi, dedi: doğrusu sen benimle sabredemezsin?

قَالَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِي بِمَا نَسِيتُ وَلَا تُرْهِقْنِي مِنْ أَمْرِي عُسْرًا
Beni dedi: unuttuğumla muâhaze etme ve bana bu işimden dolayı güçlük çıkarma
(Moses) said: Be not wroth with me that I forgot, and be not hard upon me for my fault.

Yine gittiler, nihayet bir oğlana rast geldiler tuttu onu öldürüverdi, â! Dedi: ter temiz bir nefsi bir nefis mukabili olmaksızın öldürdün mü? alimallah çok münker bir şey yaptın

قَالَ إِنْ سَأَلْتُكَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدَهَا فَلَا تُصَاحِبْنِي ۖ قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِنْ لَدُنِّي عُذْرًا
Eğer, dedi: bundan sonra sana bir şey sorarsam artık bana musahib olma, doğrusu tarafımdan son özre erdin

Bunun üzerine yine gittiler, nihayet bir karyenin ehline vardılar ki bunları müsafir etmekten imtina ettiler, derken orada yıkılmak isteyen bir divar buldular, tuttu onu doğrultuverdi, isteseydin, dedi: her halde buna karşı bir ücret alırdın

قَالَ هَٰذَا فِرَاقُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنِكَ ۚ سَأُنَبِّئُكَ بِتَأْوِيلِ مَا لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ عَلَيْهِ صَبْرًا
İşte dedi: bu, seninle benim aramın ayrılması

[[أَمَّا السَّفِينَةُ فَكَانَتْ لِمَسَاكِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ فِي الْبَحْرِ فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَعِيبَهَا وَكَانَ وَرَاءَهُمْ مَلِكٌ يَأْخُذُ كُلَّ سَفِينَةٍ غَصْبًا ]]
Sana o sabredemediğin şeylerin te'vilini haber vereyim

وَأَمَّا الْغُلَامُ فَكَانَ أَبَوَاهُ مُؤْمِنَيْنِ فَخَشِينَا أَنْ يُرْهِقَهُمَا طُغْيَانًا وَكُفْرًا
Evvelâ gemi, denizde çalışan bir takım biçarelerin idi, ben onu ayıblandırmak istedim ki: ötelerinde bir Melik vardı, her sağlam gemiyi gasben alıyordu

فَأَرَدْنَا أَنْ يُبْدِلَهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُ زَكَاةً وَأَقْرَبَ رُحْمًا
Oğlana gelince: ebeveyni mü'minlerdi, onun için bunları tuğyan ve küfrile sarmasından sakındık da istedik ki kendilerinin rabbı ona bedel bunlara temizlikçe daha hayırlısını ve merhametce daha yakınını versin

[[وَأَمَّا الْجِدَارُ فَكَانَ لِغُلَامَيْنِ يَتِيمَيْنِ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ وَكَانَ تَحْتَهُ كَنْزٌ لَهُمَا وَكَانَ أَبُوهُمَا صَالِحًا فَأَرَادَ رَبُّكَ أَنْ يَبْلُغَا أَشُدَّهُمَا وَيَسْتَخْرِجَا كَنْزَهُمَا رَحْمَةً مِنْ رَبِّكَ ۚ وَمَا فَعَلْتُهُ عَنْ أَمْرِي ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَأْوِيلُ مَا لَمْ تَسْطِعْ عَلَيْهِ صَبْرًا ]]
Gelelim divara: şehir de iki yetîm oğlanın idi, altında onlar için saklanmış bir defîne vardı ve babaları salih bir zat idi, onun için rabbın irade buyurdu ki ikisi de rüştlerine ersinler ve defînelerini çıkarsınlar, hep bunlar rabbından bir rahmet olarakdır ve ben hiç birini kendi re'yimden yapmadım ve işte senin sabredemediğin şeylerin te'vili
And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure belonging to them and their father had been righteous, and thy Lord intended that they should come to their full strength and should bring forth their treasure as a mercy from their Lord; and I did it not upon my own command. Such is the interpretation of that wherewith thou couldst not bear.
And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure belonging to them and their father had been righteous, and thy Lord intended that they should come to their full strength and should bring forth their treasure as a mercy from their Lord; and I did it not upon my own command. Such is the interpretation of that wherewith thou couldst not bear.
